Bayonet MK.I for CZ BREN 2

The MK.I tactical bayonet is specifically designed for the CZ Bren 2 assault rifle. This modern combat knife from Mikov was developed in collaboration with CZUB and the Czech Army (AČR). The designer, Major Roman Hippík, is the author of several successful knife designs for military and police units. The MK.I is partly based on the iconic UTON vz. 75 assault knife, for example thanks to the possibility of inserting a saw and file into the pommel of the bayonet.

BLADE

Made of stainless steel 1.4034 with hardness 58 HRc and thickness 4,8 mm. It features a sabre grind and a false edge ending in a central point. The DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) surface treatment guarantees high hardness, extreme wear resistance and slip resistance. Thanks to the low light reflectivity of less than 4%, there is no risk of disclosure caused by blade glare.

HANDLE

Made of durable ZYTEL material with an ergonomic shape and a roughened surface that ensures a firm grip even in poor conditions. The guard and pommel are made of spring steel 1.8159, hardened to a hardness of 35-40 HRc, and DLC coated. The guard protects the hand in close combat and on the job and prevents the hand from slipping towards the blade. The pommel can be used for attaching accessories (saw, file) or for attaching a bayonet to a weapon (Bren 2 with 14" barrel).

PROTECTIVE SHEATH

The knife comes with a self-locking Kydex sheath, suitable for attachment to a belt with a maximum width of 5 cm or to MOLLE system. The advantage of the sheath is the high durability of the material, easy maintenance and space for storing accessories.

The MK.I bayonet is intended exclusively for retail sale, making this knife accessible to the general public, even though its primary users are professional units.
